Essential Jewellery Making Tools
Using the proper tools will help you to create professional looking items of jewellery, whether you are making:

• bracelets
• necklaces
• earrings

You can also use beads to add decoration to other items such as bags, curtain tie backs or lamp shades.

Basic Jewellery Making Tools


Basic tools include:

• Round nose pliers - for making loops in your wire, and opening jump rings.
• Flat nose pliers - for closing crimps and fastenings
• Side cutting pliers - for cutting wire and tiger tail
• Locking tweezers - for holding your work in progress

Other tools include:
• Curved/bent end tweezers - for picking up beads and findings
• Beading awl - for bead knotting or cleaning out bead holes
• Bead storage box - to keep your beads safe and organised
