Each
plan has been developed in conjunction with classroom practitioners,
including senior staff in primary schools and is based upon a series
of structured practical activities. The outcomes of the activities,
that is the items made by the pupils, are equally valid as stand-alone
items, or as ones which can then be used to support other areas
of the curriculum.
Each lesson plan contains the following:
• Intended learning outcomes and National Curriculum links.
• Introduction (including teacher guidance.)
• Activity (including 'You Can Make' pupil instructions, templates
and a list of the materials and equipment required to make each
item.)
• Follow-up activities and/or Literacy
support activities.
• Pupil information sheet.
