Excellent for detailed decoration
I used this to ice white lines onto a road on a cake. It took a little longer to set than I would have liked, but it came out the tube fairly consistently.
I also used it to stick on sweets and, with the exception of some mini meringues on a vertical side of the cake, it worked well as a glue.

Easy to use for a beginner
Very easy to write with joined up or printed. Doesn’t dry quickly which was good in some instances as able to wipe off and correct lettering if needed. However, after a few hours or indeed a day it was still wet and I smudged the lettering whilst assembling my decorations on the cake. Easy to rectify though.

Good opaque colour
Really bright white colour, nice consistency and doesn’t really taste like anything but it doesn’t dry completely like with homemade icing - it has a gummy texture.

Could,be easier to use
I found this icing was easier to use once I had warmed it a little by placing the tube in a cup of warm water. Then it seemed to flow a lot easier.

After trying out many different icing pens, I feel this one works the best- good for writing on cakes etc.

Very sticky!
Bought this as I needed to draw thin white lines on my cupcake toppers and smal tubes of white icing are hard to find! This wasn't a good icing. Really sticky to touch and took ages to dry and didn't look very nice on my toppers so I had to scrape it all off :( won't be using again
