Disappointing
Pencil was good to work with until it needed sharpening then it just kept breaking off, so ended up in the bin, luckily they were not expensive !

POOR LABELING
Words on the package.... "2 crayons pastel... pastel 9.... 2 matite pastello NERO. " That's it- a bit minimal. It's 2 SOFT/chalk pastels... I was hoping for an OIL pastel pencil. No luck. The pencils are nice for what they are, but the packaging doesn't explain it well.

Great Patel Pencils
This 2 pack Pastel pencils are great for fine retail on small paintings and work well with pastel or watercolour paintings. Black is the one colour I run out of when I buy a mixed colour pack so to be able to buy black on its own at a good price is ideal.

Good pencils
The pencils have a freat texture and work very well on any type of sketching paper and even on sugar paper. However if you use them on watercolour paper or together with watercolour pencils, they do tend to wash away.

Love this Product.
Highly recommend this product if you love sketching. I wanted to try a new media and saw these in store. Tried it out and absolutely love them! Great for providing a variety of marks and tones. Easy to blend.

The best sketching pencil
I saw that illustrator Chris Riddell uses these so this was my main reason for purchasing. He's not wrong! Perfect for thin/thick lines, and blending. Also comfortable to hold. Excellent product.

I bought 2 white previously, so I knew what I was getting, a hard pastel pencil great for whiskers and fine lines. Hobbycraft need to sell sets of this type in many colours.
