How to make it
How to make it
- Knead to soften then mix varying portions of Indian red and white FIMO together to make different shades of pink. Repeat using lemon and white and tangerine and white.
- Roll some of the mixed FIMO until 5mm thick. Use cookie cutters to cut several different shapes for the base of the stoppers and set aside.
- Make various sized balls and discs by rolling balls of FIMO and flattening slightly between the palms of your hand. Set aside.
- To make the spiral to top the stoppers, roll a sausage of FIMO 5mm in diameter and twist into a spiral making each successive loop smaller and pressing down gently as you go. Neaten by gently pinching into an even cone shape, flattening the top.
- Gently press spirals or balls and discs together and press these onto the bases. Decorate with different sized crystals by pressing them into the FIMO. Oven-bake to harden for 30 minutes at 110€C/230€F. Allow to cool and glue your stopper to a cork. Further embellish your bottle stoppers by drawing swirly patterns using a metallic marker.
