Rated 4 out of 5 by craftylass cutting is now accurate, quick and easy
Been thinking of buying this cutting machine for a while and am really pleased I have. Initially mastering the software was frustrating and time consuming and the 2 contacts I made with the Support was not helpful. However, there is plenty of help available on forums and cricut's own tutorials and I am now appreciating what this machine can do. Would be good to attend a workshop at Hobbycraft but none scheduled in my area. As I needed advice before purchasing I bought this product in store - disappointed I had to buy the tool set and stylus separately when had I bought on line this pack was a free gift. Overall it is a very good piece of kit, adding ease and professionalism to my projects. Very pleased with the results, particularly intricate designs.

as in many of the reviews i read, the software is quite hard to master but the cut is very good and practice makes perfect.
it did say i would also receive some die pack on offer and it never arrived.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maz007 WOW this cricut machine is amazing, one of the best thing I ever purchased.
This was an upgrade and it's amazing, it's easy to use and a must have for any crafter.
It can be used with many different materials.
It can write, score and cut, and it can cut 12x12 paper.
The cut is really good very clear and crisp no fluffy edges or bits it missed.
It also work with my ipad, but can be used with iPhone, pc or a laptop.
You need cricut design space to use this machine, I have never used it before and it so easy to use too, have a play with it, it's great.
You can link your cartridges to your account so no messing with changing cartridge's, keypad over lays and books, just log onto you design space and it's all there ready for you to use.
I would recommend this product to anyone, I love it.

Bought the cricut air in hobbycraft a few weeks ago and it's amazing. I love it, the cuts on it are fantastic and can cut so small. Much better than the original cricut expression. The design space is much easier than I thought it would be to figure out.

So bought this machine, the machine itself has really good potential. It cuts accurately and you can cut most things. It is totally let down by the software! The Cricut Design Space is an online software that you cannot use unless you have Internet (no real issue) but it freezes all of the time, when you try to design your own projects, you save them, then can't access them so you have to start from scratch again! I haven't been able to hardly use the machine because of the useless software. As I am over my 14 day return time, I am gutted, as I would definitely be returning this machine if I could! Absolute waste of money and if hobbycraft could help by taking it back, I would be very grateful.

Rated 4 out of 5 Brilliant Product
This machine is very good. I'm new to all this so I am playing about seeing what it can do.
Software takes a lot of playing around to get used to how it works. 2 week free trial on all software designs and fonts lets you trial what you may want in the future

The Cricut is the perfect gift for someone that loves to be artistic and make cards and a lot of other paper/card or cloth based items. I have not seen my wife for two days now as she is busy making all sorts of things... Perfect :)

This is the third Cricut I have had, and the latest model. I love to craft with my Cricut and when I saw the Black Friday deal Hobbycraft had on the Cricut Explore Air, I just had to buy it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by CraftDee First impressions are good
I have yet to master all the things that the cricut can do but the fact that there are numerous projects I can use it for means I can easily get my monies worth.
A word of caution for new users though is to make sure the mat is fed into the machine properly as I ended up cutting the mat directly.
A few more tools included would be nice rather than having to pay separately.
