A great product but latest purchase dissapointing
Have bought several sets of these brushes in the past 18 months. They are really good when travelling and having to hand when relaxing having coffee etc. However, I bought a set last week which I've just returned for a refund. Basically, the water cartridge appears to have been redesigned making the screw in end shorter than before. As a result the barrel leaks badly when squeezed and water continues to flow into the bristles while painting- resulting in a strong colour becoming fainter and fainter with each stroke. It might just be a production blip but it needs urgent attention before I buy them again. Shame!

Very useful
Great for using with water colour pencils, very controllable and easy to get used to, tip is to squeeze till water flows then dab on paper towel and use.

Derwent Water Brush pack
I found these brushes an absolute pleasure to use & as I sketch & paint on location they do not take up much room. They could do with a plastic carrying case though.

So useful!
Love these brushes for taking on holiday (empty of water before going through security!). I particularly like using them for en plein air sketches in conjunction with graphitint or watercolour pencils or even w/c. They don’t leak and come in 3 widths. Have tried cheaper ones but these last longer and the caps and barrels are more sturdy. Have already recommended them to friends and also bought a set for my granddaughter after introducing her to en plein air sketching.

Derwent water pens
Derwent water pens are the best type of brush to take away on holiday especially if you are travelling abroad. we I pack for our walking holiday these pens are included before anything else. I can make a quick sketch as I have water available and use water soluble colouring pencils. the pens are easy to pack and light to carry
