Excellent quality
DMC is recognised as the leading company for silk threads. Other brands might be cheaper but if you are using the silks to create or even 'mend' something you value, why skint on the quality? The threads are 8m long and consist of 6 strands, each one is very strong - I use them to sew on buttons, they don't tend to knot up as long as you don't cut the thread too long. They are 'colour' fast too, so your sewing can be washed if it gets a bit grubby! Lovely product.

Just what I needed!
Needed to finish cross-stitch project. Not easy to find anywhere which stocks DMC locally, so pleased to find that Hobbycraft did!
