Not what I needed
I bought this as I needed vanilla flavouring for some cupcakes I was making, but this isn’t a standard vanilla flavour. It has a much stronger and sweeter taste that’s a normal bottle of vanilla essence. The product itself is quite thick and like a syrup as opposed to a runny liquid consistency. I did’t know at the time how different this product would be from what I wanted. Either way, my friends and family noticed the sweeter taste and didn’t like it

A great impulse buy.
I've been meaning to buy vanilla essence for ages, but I keep forgetting to put it on my shopping list. I was surprised to find it in Hobbycraft - I had no idea their baking range was so large - so I bought it straight away. I'm very pleased with the rich, full flavour. I'm going to switch brands to this.

this is the best
I bought & used this make & was very pleased with the raw taste before adding to cake mix. When I ran out I picked up the wrong one by mistake in a local store & the difference in flavour wasnt good.this is definitely the best

Fantastic, adds to a sponge
Great brand to use, trusted and reliable. Really enhances the flavour of a Victoria Sponge!
Can also be used as an enhanced if other baked goods, have used this in a lemon sponge cake also

Delicious!
Great tasting product at a reasonable price. Used in min fairy cakes for my daughter and they turned out beautifully. sometimes I put a bit in my coffee too.
