Great colour and easy to use
Great colour and exactly what I wanted - it gave a new lease of life to a number of my clothes.
Really easy to use (just stick it in the washing machine!). I worried about residual dye in the machine for the next wash but that was not an issue at all.
It did leave a small ring of dye on the rubber around the door but it wiped off easily with a bit of bleach spray.

Know your washing machine!
I've used Dylon machine dyes successfully for years. This pod version is meant to be the most simple way yet to machine dye, but it's really important that you understand how your machine works for this product to be effective and not spoil the items you are trying to dye. If you have a modern eco-type machine you may have problems. For example, putting this in at the start of the longer 40C cotton cycle, on top of damp items, when my Samsung machine first spins to weigh the items, then fills with only a small amount of water (because it's eco) resulted in dark dye spots where dry dye powder was scattered onto the damp items from the pod during the machine doing it's spin-weighing, which then remained undiluted until the cycle got going. Pre-diluting the dye worked better for me, because my machine has an add-wash door, so I could carefully dilute in large jug, then even more carefully pour the dye solution in after the program had started, via the add-wash door using a funnel fashioned from a plastic bottle. I couldn't add the dye solution at the beginning of the program because the first thing the machine does at the start is a draining process! Otherwise, once all this was sussed, results are good as long as you remember colour mixing rules and are dyeing appropriate and most of all CLEAN fabrics. Experiment with your programs first so that you find one that doesn't spin-weigh the load first, and ideally sloshes plenty of water round during a non-eco cycle. I found the babycare program with an adjusted temperature worked quite well, but even then, remember to switch off the pre-wash part of the program, or you will lose your dye.....It really wasn't this complicated with my old basic Hotpoint and the former machine dye in a box version!!

So easy and clean to use
To dye material used to be messy and time consuming - wearing rubber gloves was an absolute necessity. Measuring the amounts of dye and salt was a pain.
This product is a huge change.
It is well designed, so clean and has produced a spectacular result - just as required. And no calculating the quantities of dye and salt.
So, what is there not to like.
Now I have to find another use for those old stained rubber gloves - cleaning out the pond perhaps.

Easy to use
Easy to use, simply wash the fabric as normal (minus conditioner), bang the opened pod in and run on a 40C cycle.
I used 2 pods as I was dyeing a pair of trousers and a couple of tees but the colour was evenly spread and has given my clothes a deep rich colour.

Amazing product
Dylon dye is amazing product which does the job it has to. I have used 2 packs for full set of double beddings- 4 pillow cases, 1 duvet cover, 1 fitter sheet and 1 blouse. The colour is the same as the package! I definitely recommend this.

Great product!
I've used 6 pods to refresh my sofa. I did 2 loads of washing but, with a little bit of maths, the sofa cover and the cushion covers came out the same beautifully intense colour!

Thought the product would come out a more bright teal but ended up a pale blue, still a nice colour but maybe it was the material
