Gutermn Upholstery Thread 100m
This is an excellent thread. I recently purchased this product to sew together fabric for my caravan seat covers.
The thread is very stong, works well on sewing machine and by hand.
Very tough and does the job brilliantly.
I also liked that this comes on 100 metre reels as some other makes are only 30 metres.
Used three reels in total and all the shading was the same and all of a consistently good quality.
I would highly recommend this product.

Is it just my machine?
I am not sure if there is a problem with this thread or my machines capabilities in using this thicker thread.
Either way it has caused problems in completing my project of making new covers for a fireside chair and I have reverted to conventional thread with a double seam.
The upholstery thread tangled very easily whilst in the machine, therefore for me not a good purchase.

Expensive but worth it!
Whilst this is not cheap thread, it is certainly strong. Used to attach arms, legs and glass eyes, never have to worry about it snapping. Perfect!

Good quality
Really strong and good quality. My machine is really old and can snag on cotton quite a lot this hasn’t snagged once.
