This product was a great investment
I recently purchased this product to replace one that I had purchased over 5 years ago that unfortunately got missplaced in a recent home move but it was still in great shape so decided to buy the exact same make again as it had served me well in the past. It is well marked out for different cutting angles and has made my sewing projects easier to cut out more accurately and made my end products have a more proffesional look as is needed as I am no profesional when it comes to sewing. Fantastic product. A must especially for larger projects

Must have product
It makes cutting a lot easier and protects your work top. Very durable. I’ve maked hundreds of cuts on it in the past months and there is hardly any sign of it. Great with a hot glue that I use a lot. Every drop of a hot glue you get on this mat can be easily scrapped of. I just use the end of my metal ruler to do it and it works perfectly.
Remember to store it flat once it gets deformed it’s very hard to make it flat again.

A3 Cutting Hobby Mat
It's wonderful to have this purpose made crafting mat. I use it for cutting with scalpels/craft knives, soldering, potting on plants and my passion, tying fishing flies.
The mat keeps my tying vice in place, collects cut materials, and resists paints with a wipe off with solvents.
Whatever, it's so practical and easily cleaned of soil, cut materials or paints, protecting your table tops.

This cutting mat is the perfect size if you are making smaller items, I like that it has the size markings in it
It’s thick enough so that the blade doesn’t cut through to the table below it

Great Value Cutting Mat
I have had the large size of this Hobbycraft cutting mat for several years and it has survived several years of Mount Board cutting and assorted projects and is still going strong.
The square markings are ideal for ensuring the mount board is square before making a cut, although I still measure carefully using a steel rule before cutting.
I rather bizarrely purchased the A3 variant recently for use as a Mousemat. As a Mousemat for todays Optical Mice it works a treat, I actually use it upside down.
