Disappointing!
Essentially, inside the box, you get a small sachet of baking soda, small bottle of vinegar, a small (approx 5") grey plastic cone and a couple of cardboard cut-outs. If that's all you're expecting, then great, you won't be disappointed. However, you'd be just as well to buy your own ingredients (vinegar and baking soda) to mix together to create the same effect! The only difference would be you wouldn't have the little grey volcano (plastic cone).

Waste of money
Regrettably this was a real disappointment!
The 'volcano' is so small that you cannot get the vinegar in and put the top back on before the reaction starts and 'lava' flows.

£9 for a plastic cone and a disappointed kid
This is supposed to contain 1 bicarbonate of soda and 1 tartic acid. I got 2 bicarbs and no tartic acid. I have bicarb in my cupboard, so I’ve spent £9 and got a small, flimsy plastic cone and a disappointed kid. (I’ll try it with just vinegar.) There doesn’t even seem to be anything to turn the foam red. Save yourself some money and use a plastic bottle. For more of a project, cover with newspaper & PVA, and paint.

Fun for little kids
The kit is perfect for anybody with a non science background full of information and everything is inside. Even goggles which my son loved and actually if bought separate would cost more than the kit itself. reusable with the volcano being plastic and can be done again and again with stuff from the kitchen cupboard. Fully recommend

I have brought this product more then once as the children love it and keep them busy during the holidays and it actually quite fun to do with them. Definitely would recommend hobby craft and their products to everyone

Vapid volcano. Do not buy this for your grandchild
Absolutely useless. Brought it back for a refund. It barely erupted at all - maybe the chemicals were old b cause we followed the instructions very careful
