Great and easy instructions
Having reached my seventh decade I thought I would try something new! Never having learnt to crochet I decided to have a go and bought the book Learn to Crochet. I thoroughly recommend it as it is so easy to follow even for us "oldies" Really enjoying it. Thank you

Great for beginners
Absolutely love this book! It shows a step-by-step guide on how to start a project, and fits in some simple ones involving each techniques.
It also provides information on the specific kind of materials needed for the project.
It would be a great idea if this book comes as a bundle with a yarn and one of the needles to start.

Looks very good and easy to learn from
Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter in law, she has wanted to learn to crochet for ages, this should help her achieve her ambition. Her grandma could crochet but unfortunately died about 12 years ago, and never got round to teaching her,so now both herself and my granddaughter are going to learn together

Not v user friendly
Bought this as a total newbie. I’m left handed and the diagrams were all for right handers so v difficult to work out what I was supposed to do. On top of that, quite a bit of use of jargon without clear explanation as to its meaning. Utterly flummoxed so returned the next day.

Great book with the basics to get started. You can really make the most of it if you have made use of YouTube vids and then consolidate your learning of basic techniques using this book...there are lots of handy tips too which you may not stumble across on YouTube too!

Great for a beginner
This book is great for a beginner. It includes information about types of wool, the best hooks to use for different projects and a list of common abbreviations when reading patterns. Some of the diagrams could’ve a little clearer but I managed to get the hang of it.
