Watercolour Palm Trees Card

  How To Make

  1. Using a large paintbrush, paint a square of orange onto the watercolour paper and whilst still wet add some stripes of red to the top half of the square. Leave to dry.

  2. With black paint add silhouettes of the sand and the tree trunks and leave to dry.

  3. Carefully tear out the square of watercolour paper leaving a small border around the painted area and stick it to the card blank with a glue stick.

  4. Snip the lower sections from two feathers and glue them to the top of the tree trunks with PVA.

  5. Add an outline sticker or rub-on centrally. Cut a small piece of raffia lace and glue it between the trees to form the hammock.

Tip: Experiment with paint colours to create different skies.
