GIFT BOX

1. Draw around the lid of your box onto the blue foam and cut out the shape.

2. Apply the foam to the lid with the Tacky glue.

3. Cut a snowman shape out of white foam and stick it in the centre of the lid.

4. Cut a black hat, an orange nose, a yellow scarf, a green tree, a red present, a green present and two white hands out of foam.

5. Glue all these pieces into the correct position on the snowman.

6. Decorate the hat with a chenille stem, the scarf with sequins, the tree with beads.

7. Bend chenille stems to form a star for the tree and a bow for the present and glue in place.

8. Add the wobbly eyes and use a permanent marker to draw dots for the mouth.

9. Cut a strip of white foam the width of your box and 4cm tall. Onto this draw a wavy line and cut out. Glue to the base of the picture to form a snowdrift.

10. Glue white pom-poms to the blue-sky area to form snowflakes.

11. Cover the sides of the lid with red foam strips, measured and cut to size. Add chenille strips to each corner.

12. Cover the base of the box with blue foam strips.

13. Cut chenille stems into 8cm lengths and bend over the top to create candy sticks. Glue these to the side of the box to finish.

CARD

1. Cut out a square of blue foam the same size as the card and glue to the front.

2. Cut out snowman shapes in the relevant colour of foam and assemble onto the card. Glue in place.

3. Apply the wobbly eyes, chenille stems and sequins as for the box.

GIFT TAG

1. Cut the snowman's head and hat out of one piece of white foam.

2. Cut out a hat shape from black foam and glue on top of the white hat.

3. Cut the nose out of orange foam and glue into place.

4. Add the wobbly eyes, and mouth detail with the permanent marker.

5. Cut a length of chenille stem and glue to the hat for the hatband.

6. Cut a length of different coloured chenille stem and glue to the top right corner of the hat to form the tag.

7. Attach the sequin to the hat above the end of the chenille stem.

8. Add your message on the reverse.
