Halloween Spider Mask

  How To Make

1. Cut an oval shape out of orange foam to fit the size of your face. Cut out a smaller oval from the black foam and glue on top of the orange, for the face. Cut the eye-holes by piercing the centre of each carefully with the scissors and then cutting out a small circle.

2. Cut out red stripes to decorate the visible orange body and glue into place. Outline with a black pen for definition.

3. Make the spider's legs using the black chenille stems - cut the chenille into different lengths to create dimension. Glue four onto each side of the mask so it looks like they are joined onto the black body shape.

4. Glue alternate red and orange pom-poms to the base of each leg.

5. Glue the small orange and yellow pom-poms around the top edge of the black face. Add the remaining red pom-pom for the nose, and red chenille stem for the mouth.

6. To finish, cut out two small triangles for fangs from white foam and glue onto the mouth.

7. Use a hole punch to create a hole either side of the mask and thread through ribbon to hold the mask in place!
