1. Paint a plant pot with acrylic paint, applying two coats if required. Allow to dry.
2. Decorate with spots or stripes in a contrasting colour.
3. Glue two wobbly eyes onto a pom-pom. Attach a bead onto the end of a fine piece of wire. Wind the wire around the bead and back through the hole then cut off any excess.
4. Thread the other end of the wire through the pom-pom and back up again to form antennae. Attach a bead on the other end of the wire in the same way.
5. Secure the pom-pom to the rim of the pot using glue or double sided tape to make your plant pot pet.
