Harvey The Rabbit

  How To Make

1. Paint a polystyrene ball and egg with brown acrylic paint and allow to dry.

2. Paint the mache box inside and out with green acrylic paint and allow to dry.

3. Push a craft stick into the ball and push the other end into the broad end of the egg to form the head and body. Cut the pointed end off the egg to enable the figure to stand up.

4. Cut two slits in the top of the head where the ears are to be positioned. Cut two ears out of brown foam and glue in place. Attach the eyes with glue and pom poms for the cheeks and nose.

5. Cut whiskers and teeth out of foam and glue in position. Add arms and feet in the same way.

6. When dry, glue the rabbit to the lid of the box.

7. To complete your Easter decoration or gift, write a message and glue it on the lid of the box. You can add the daffodil by cutting the flower and pot shape out of foam. The centre of the flower is a bead. Tie a bow from brown ribbon and glue under the chin of the rabbit.
