2. Pin the two body pieces together fur side inwards.

3. To make the arms and legs, sew two sausage shapes together fur side inwards, leaving a gap at one end. Repeat this four times then turn each limb inside out.

4. Position the arms and legs in their right place on the body and pin between the two layers of fur.

5. Cut the black braid into two equal lengths, according to the height of the child. Fold each end over and sew a hem to avoid fraying. Attach the pieces of braid into the seam at the bottom of the body.

6. Sew around the edge of the body to secure the arms, legs and bottom straps, leaving the top of the bag open. Trim any excess fur and braid.

7. Fold the top of the bag over and sew in place to allow a hem for the drawstring. Cut a hole in the hem at the centre front and over sew.

8. Attach a safety pin to one end of the brown cord and thread it through the hem at the top of the bag. Pull both ends through the hole. This is the drawstring to open and close the bag.

9. To make the ears, sew a piece of fur and felt together leaving a gap to turn it the right way out. Pinch the open end and stitch together to form an ear shape. Repeat for both ears.

10. Pin the felt mouth to the front of the fur head shape and sew the top edge in place. The bottom edge will form part of the seam.

11. Lay the two head shapes together fur side in and position the ears. Sew together, leaving a gap at the top to turn right side out. Sew the nose in place and stitch the mouth with black thread. Stick on the wobbly eyes.

12. Cut two 10cm squares out of fur and sew two parallel sides together. Sew one end of this into the gap at the top of the head and the other to the inside top of the bag.

13. Sew the other ends of the black braid to the top of the bag at the back.
