Easter Tree

  How To Make

1. Firstly paint your terracotta pot evenly with the green paint, follow the recommended suggestions for drying time, before applying at least two more coats. This will give your colour real depth and provide you with a good even finish.

2. Use a craft knife to cut the floral foam to fit the pot.

3. Take each branch and one by one push them into the centre area of the floral foam, keeping them close together.

4. Once finished, tie wire around them all tightly.

5. You can then conceal the wire with a piece of green checked ribbon, tied round in a small bow.

6. Repeat Step 5, but this time around the pot, securing into place with some PVA glue.

7. Attach brass screw eyes to the top of each egg, in preparation for painting.

8. Paint and decorate the eggs, as you choose. They can be as simple or as decorative as you wish.

9. For the finishing touches apply a coat of varnish to each object. Use 3mm ribbons cut into approximately 15mm lengths, to hang them from the tree.
