Exotic Sari Table Runner

  How To Make

1. Fold the fabric in half lengthways and cut into two pieces.

2. Take one length and make a 1cm hem all way round using iron-on easy hem.

3. Lay runner out on a flat surface with newspaper underneath. Using a ruler, mark points at 10cm intervals along the fabric runner and about 5cm in from the edges.

4. With a paint brush, coat the rubber stamp with a thin layer of gold fabric paint and press onto a starting point on the fabric runner. Rotate the stamp 180 degrees and repeat at the next point. Repeat until all sides of the runner are printed.

5. When dry, iron the runner to fix the fabric paint.

6. Cut lengths of ribbon to trim the edges of the fabric runner and secure in place with iron-on easy hem.
