Gift Wrapped Egg Baskets

  How To Make

To wrap the eggs:

1. Carefully remove the chocolate eggs from their boxes, leaving the metallic paper in place, so they are ready to be gift wrapped in coloured cellophane.

2. Cut a square of coloured cellophane and a square of co-ordinating tissue paper and lay the tissue paper diagonally on top of the cellophane on a flat surface.

3. Start by securing the egg, using double-sided tape to the centre of the tissue paper. Then simply gather up the tissue paper and cellophane to the top of the egg and secure with a narrow piece of floral ribbon.

4. Add decoration to the neck of the egg to suit your own personal taste. Here we used decorative ribbon.

To decorate the baskets:

5. To line the base of your basket, either shred some short lengths of floral ribbon using a ribbon shredder or fill your basket with scrunched up tissue paper and feathers.

6. Wrap decorative trims around the handles and secure each end in place using a glue gun.

7. For extra decoration wire also glue small bunches of petite flowers at intervals along the handle. Here we used daffodils
