Gift Wrapped Eggs

  How To Make

To wrap the eggs:

1. Carefully remove the chocolate eggs from their boxes, leaving the metallic paper in place, so they are ready to be gift wrapped in coloured cellophane.

2. Cut a square of coloured cellophane and lay on a flat surface. Start by securing the egg, using double-sided tape to the centre of the cellophane. Then simply gather up the cellophane to the top of the egg and secure with a narrow piece of floral ribbon.

3. Add decoration to the neck of the egg to suit your own personal taste. Here we used decorative trimmings.

To decorate the galvanised containers:

4. To fill the bottom of your container, either shred some short lengths of floral ribbon using a ribbon shredder or fill your container with scrunched up tissue paper.

5. For extra decoration glue contrasting ribbons and trimmings around the circumference of your containers. Or simply decorate with outline stickers.

6. Finally rest your egg in the top of your container.
