Heart Wedding Stationery Set

  How To Make

1. To create a card blank, fold (and if necessary cut) coloured card to desired size.

2. Unfold your card blank and laying it flat, measure and cut a piece of handmade paper to cover the entire surface of the card (front and back), leaving a 1cm border of the card showing all the way around. Fold the paper in half and attach onto the spine of the card blank using double sided tape.

3. Ink up a heart rubber stamp and stamp onto a piece of torn mulberry paper 4cm x 4cm in size. When dry, glue to the centre of the handmade paper on the front of your card.

4. Draw a square outline around the heart image using glass paint outliner or dimensional paint. Use the picture as a guide. Leave the outliner to dry in the open air according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check that it has dried thoroughly before putting the card in an envelope.

Please note, it is advised that the card remains upright and nothing is rested on it, to prevent other materials sticking to the outliner.

5. Tie a length of 3mm wide ribbon around the front flap of your card, aligning it with the spine of your card and finish with a bow.

6. Add your chosen message using outline stickers or write one with a metallic pen.

This design can be used across all your wedding stationery including invitations, order of service, menu, place card names etc.
