2. Cut out an aperture in the front of the card blank either freehand or using a Fiskars Shapecutter and templates.

3. Cut strips of decorative, holographic and pearl paper approximately 3cm wide and fold them in half lengthways leaving the right side of the paper facing outwards.

4. Place the aperture card face down on the template and secure with magic tape.

5. Lay down the folded strips of paper, alternating the colours, in numerical order keeping the fold towards the centre of the template. Cut off any excess paper and secure the ends with magic tape.

6. When completed, cut out a piece of card the same size as the card blank and stick it to the back of the iris folding.

7. Use outline stickers to embellish the front of the card.

Tree card: Cut out a square shape of decorative paper for the pot and stick it to the front of the card, below the tree.

Present card: Attach the iris folding aperture to the front of the card blank with sticky fixers to give a 3D effect. Embellish with ribbon.
