Natural Easter Tree

  How To Make

1. Attach a brass screw eye to each of your chosen objects, you will find a pair of pliers very useful.

2. Paint the eggs with oil based glass paints. You can choose either to paint them in one whole colour, or to split them into two.

3. If you choose to split some of them, draw a crooked line all the way round each egg using the relief outliner. Leave to dry.

4. Next, paint in the different sections, consider using the darker of two colours for the bottom part.

5. Follow the manufacturer's guide on drying times and then apply a second coat of colour to everything, this will give your items a beautiful sheen and a wonderful richness of colour.

6. Cut the ribbons into approximately 15cm lengths and use these to hang the items. (You may find it useful to do this first, so you can hang them whilst they are drying.)

7. Half fill a tall vase with some pebbles and moss and then place a bunch of small branches (strong enough to hold the weight of your eggs) into a vase. Then hang your painted eggs onto the branches.
