Festive Stars Game

  How To Make

Making the Board

1. Cut an A1 mount board in half to form two A2 pieces. Taking one A2 piece, with the board in landscape position, score vertically on the reverse down the centre - this will allow the game to be closed for safe & tidy storage.

2. Take one 'hook' & one 'loop' Stick On Coin and stick them centrally at either end of the board so that it can be folded and secured shut.

Making the Score Card

3. Cut a piece of mount board to form the frame for the score card. Paste PVA around the edges of the frame and sprinkle with glitter. Secure the frame to the top half of the game board using PVA. Draw a score card on white card and stick it inside the glitter frame using four hook & loop Velcro coins in each corner.

Making the Game Card

4. Glue snowflake confetti to an A4 piece of felt - two horizontal lines and two vertical lines.

5. Glue the felt game card onto the lower half of the game board.

Making the Counters

6. Make 3D counters by cutting star shapes out of metallic card and stick 'hook' Velcro coins to the reverse. Stick 'loop' Velcro coins onto the game board around the perimeter of the score card - these are for storing the counters.

Hang it or carry it

7. Cut two lengths of ribbon and stick to the back of the board at the top & bottom. Either hang the game on the wall or carry the game with you.
