1. Cut a rectangle out of foam. You may wish to cut two to make a double thickness hanger, sticking both pieces together with glue.
2. Use a hole punch to create a hole in the top left and top right corners of the foam rectangles.
3. Draw shapes and letters onto foam and carefully cut them out with scissors. Glue them in position on the door hanger.
4. Use a marker pen to create extra detail.
5. Thread a length of ribbon through the two holes at the top of the hanger and cut it to the required length. Secure in place on the back, with a simple knot on each side.
Tip: Use a pre-cut foam door hanger for a different look.
