 3-D Fish Father's Day Card

  How To Make

1. Cut out a water splash shape, the same width as the front of your card blank from corrugated card and mulberry paper. Then feather the edges of your mulberry paper shape by lightly dampening the edges and teasing away some of the paper.

2. Stick the mulberry paper shape to the bottom edge of the front of your card blank using double side tape. Stick the corrguated card shape on top, again using double side tape.

3. Cut out segments that will form your fish from the pearlescent paper using decorative edged scissors. Stick segments together using foam sticky fixers, alternating between the two different colours and mounting each segment so it overlaps the next, curving the fish as you go. Use the picture as a guide.

4. Trim the fish shape as required and crimp an extra peice of pearlescent paper and cut out tail and fin shapes. Attach these to the underside of the body of the fish using double sided tape.

5. Glue a wobbly eye onto the head of the fish. Leave to dry.

6. Cut a length of metallic thread and attach one end to the underside of your fish using double sided tape.

7. Position the fish on the front of your card blank and stick in place using double sided sticky tape. Glue the metallic thread in a wavy line above the fish on the front of your card blank.

8. Add a special Father's Day message using outline stickers.
