  How To Make

For the Necklace:

1. Decide on the length for your necklace and cut a piece of leather thong.

2. Feed the feather into a crimp and secure it in place using pliers.  Thread this onto the leather thong.  Thread beads in contrasting colours on either end of the thong, on both sides of the feather.

3. Double over one end of the thong and feed it into a crimp.  Secure this in place using pliers then repeat the process at the other end.  Attach a clasp to one of the ends.

4. Use different colours or types of feathers and beads to create many different variations.

For the Earrings:

1. Feed a feather into a leather crimp and secure it in place using pliers.

2. Attach the feather and crimp to an earring clip using a jump ring.

3. Repeat this for the second earring.  Use different styles of feathers to achieve different effects.

Not suitable for children under 5 years.  Tools should be used by an adult.  Adult supervision recommended for children's craft activities.
