- Put some yellow acrylic paint into a palette and dip your thumb into the paint. Then press your thumb onto some white paper. Repeat until you have your required number of thumbprints. Leave to dry.
- Cut out beak shapes from fab foam and stick onto the yellow thumbprints. Draw in the legs, wings and tails detail with a fine nibbed black pen. You can either draw in the eyes with the black pen or stick on small wobbly eyes using glue.
- Cut out two rectangle shapes of coloured card or decorative paper - one the width of your card blank and the other slightly smaller. Stick these across the middle of your card blank using double sided tape. Cut around your thumb print chick design and stick on top of the layered paper or card using double sided tape.
- Use outline stickers or hand write your message onto a piece of card. Cut around the message and mount onto the co-ordinated coloured card using double sided tape. Stick it onto the front of the card blank underneath your chick design. Use the picture as a guide.
