Cut a piece of tiger tail long enough to loop at least twice around your neck.
Thread a calotte onto a bolt ring and thread one end of the tiger tail through the small hole in the calotte. Wrap around the clasp, double back through the hole in the calotte and squeeze the calotte closed with pliers.
Lay out your design of beads, co-ordinating colours and sizes. Thread the beads onto the tiger tail, leaving approximately 2cm at the end.
Repeat step 2, this time threading the calotte onto a jump ring to complete the clasp.
