Felt Pencil Case

  How To Make

  1. Cut an A4 piece of patterned felt in half lengthways.

  2. Cut one piece 22cm long and the other 30 cm long.

  3. Draw lines with a pencil on the reverse of one end of the longer piece to taper one end. Trim both sides to form the flap of the pencil case.

  4. Cut a strip of felt 10cm x 3cm.

  5. Place the two larger pieces of felt together and insert brads at each corner to anchor. It may be easier to punch very small holes with an eyelet punch or tapestry needle first.

  6. Attach the strip of felt approx 3.5cm from the top edge of the front of the pencil case and secure with two brads at either side.

  7. Inserts brads every 2cm along the side edges and every 1cm across the bottom.
