Felt Stocking Card

  How To Make

  1. Cut out two or three stocking shapes from felt. Cut the same number of rectangle shapes for the top of each stocking.

  2. Glue the rectangles of felt onto the top end of each stocking using tacky glue. Leave to dry.

  3. Cut lengths of cord the same width as the stockings and glue as stripes on the stockings using tacky glue. Leave to dry.

  4. Cut a length of ribbon or cord about 2cm longer than the width of the card blank. Arrange the ribbon on the front of the card blank, towards the top. Fold either end of the ribbon/cord inside the card blank and secure on the inside of the front of the card blank using scotch tape.

  5. Peg the finished stockings along the length of ribbon/cord.

  6. To cover up the ribbon ends on the inside of the card, cut a piece of card the same size as the front of the card and secure it inside the card using double sided tape.
