You Can Make   Silk Cushion Cover
What You Need:

Cushion cover
 
Pebeo Setacolour expandable paint ref: 391006

Pebeo Setacolour opaque black - no. 19
 
Masking tape

Piece of thick paper 40 x 40cm

Acetate or other stencil material

A sponge

  How To Make
       
 

  1. Cut out the leaf template to create a stencil (blow up the design on a copier if you want a larger size).

   2.  Place the thick paper inside the cushion
        cover.

   3.  Fix the stencil in the centre of the
        cushion.

   4.  Create 3 grey tones :
        a) Add a little black Setacolour to the
            expandable paint.
        b) As above but a little darker.
        c) As above but darker still.
 
   5.  Use greys a) and b) with the stencil.
 
   6.  Create a 3cm wide frame around the
        edge of the cushion cover with masking
        tape.

   7.  Paint the frame with grey c) and allow to
        dry.

   8. Iron on the reverse on a cotton setting
       for 3 minutes to fix and expand the paint.
