Brilliant bag!
This bag is great. It fits all my drawing books and paints in with ease. The long strap means I can wear it across my body will make everything a lot easier to carry to my art classes :)

Perfect carry case!
I've just started a calligraphy course and needed something that would hold an A3 pad of paper as well as safely carry pots of ink and fragile pen nibs. This is perfect! Just the right size, with lots of secure pockets and pouches. It's also very comfortable to carry, either by hand or using the shoulder strap.

Great potential overall disappointed
Positives:
- Loads of different sections and compartments and good storage capacity
- The little mats that come with are a great addition
- Reflective strip also a nice touch
Negatives:
- You can't actually use all the compartments at once because if it gets even marginally too heavy the velcro isn't strong enough to hold it closed when you pick it up -- you WILL have to add extra velcro, poppers, or string for it to be useable
- Had to tie a string around the back-pack strap otherwise it shifts as you put it on -- also the strap is pretty short. Not much of an issue for me (size 10 female) but for anyone broader then probably would be
Overall only 2 stars because to use it with more than a single sketch pad and a few paint tubes and brushes you have to do some DIY

Very badly designed
The Velcro used to close the bag was insufficient in strength to hold the bag closed once there was any amount of weight to the content of the bag. Also, because the flap was made up of two layers of mareial( due to there being a pocket on the flap), it became very distorted when the bag was lifted by the handle.
A good idea but a bad design.
I suggest that this item is removed from your shelves until these issues are sorted. By continuing to keep these for sale on you shelves you are letting down your loyal customers.

The bag is a good size and not heavy. It fits nicely to the shoulder and suits purpose well, until you have any weight in it (case of paints, thick sketch pad, pencil box) and then the velcro straps holding the flap are pulled open and the bag becomes awkward.

Loved the art satchel..
The art satchel has pockets ; dividers; and 2 ways of holding it. I bought this for my daughter's GCSE folder; ensuring all her work remains dry and protected.
