Nylon jaw jewellery wire pliers.
Second pair that I have bought,
First pair suffered at the hands of a novice, I tended to grip very hard to straighten any wire that I was working with,
All I did was was work harden the wire,
This second pair wasn't bought because of the inequality of the product, but rather the Quality.
I have yet to buy a product of My choice, that I have been disappointed with.
Hobbycraft have a good range of hand tools at affordable prices and good quality.
Highly recommended.

No I would not recommend these..
The first time I used the Nylon Jaw Pliers, one of the nylon’s scratched badly, just on some 0.6mm copper wire. Second time I used them on some 0.6mm silver wire the same nylon literally broke in half and fell off. I have bought several other tools from Hobbycraft with no problems. But I would not recommend these..

This product isn’t fit for purpose
As soon as I started to use these, the plastic grips fell out. Whatever glue that was used is totally useless.
I will be taking them back, when I am able to, as on lock down at the moment.

Nylon Jaw Pliers/ Hobby Craft is feeding my creative passions.
I started my new jewellery making hobby a few months ago and a few days later spotted a Hobbycraft store a mile away from my Home. This store has given me loads of great ideas for creating cool stuff. I've bought most of my tools from there and am looking forward to try making jewellery with resin & other cool products I've seen in this marvellous shop.
The nylon jaw pliers have served me well, preventing unwanted marks on my finished wire work bracelets.

Very useful
Absolutely brilliant if you enjoy working with wire. Makes straightening out wire so quick and easy and won't leave any marks. I must say, the jaws are actually a little softer than I had expected, I ended up damaging the surface of them after just a couple of hours of use but that was my own fault for not realising. Would definitely recommend being gentle with them and they'll serve you well.

OK but need finishing
Not bad, but the quality was not great. There were hard lines on the jaw faces which need to be polished off before use if you want to make sure they are not going to mark what is being held. Otherwise they do the job. Not sure how long the jaws will last but I expect I can 3D print some replacements when necessary.

Exactly what I needed.
These pliers have been a crucial part of my jewellery making tool box. They are perfect for straightening out and readjusting wires without leaving any marks or scratches on the jewellery itself. Would definitely recommend them for anyone making wire wrapped pieces of jewellery.

Nylon Jaw Pliers useful for many hobbies.
Although sold as protected jaws for making jewelry, I bought them for other hobbies. I have found them very useful for model making. You can hold very small or delicate items very tightly without damaging the surface. I find them very versatile, and an essential tool to own.
