Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Used this to knit a bobble hat, the white flecks in the yarn look great and it's really sturdy but stretchy once knitted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent wool I bought this for a scarf and the high wool content is making it very cosy and warm to wear. A good quality wool to knit with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality The wool is nice to work with. Three for two offer makes this good value for money. As a person returning to crochet after a gap of more than 5 years I was happy to buy wool from hobbycraft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good yarn with even flecks for everyday use A good yarn for creating textiles that are durable and unlikely to stretch with use and washing. The fleck is evenly spread so you don't end up with patches or stripes. It's also well woven into the main colour which means that the yarn is smooth to knit with. I found I needed larger needles than advised on the label - I used 5mm for a cable pattern and it was still hard going. Although the finished texture is somewhat rougher than I would like from a yarn with a reasonable wool content, I am really pleased with the results. I have made a knitted dress for my daughter to wear in her chilly industrial office; I am confident that she'll get plenty of wear out of it and it will continue to look good for longer than most knits.
