This set of Pebeo Assorted Brushes will be ideal for painting with acrylics. There are four types of brushes included in this set, helping you to create a range of effects: flat brushes, round brushes, a fan brush and a script liner.

The flat brushes are: No. 2, 10 and 18, the round brushes are: No. 0, 4 and 8, the fan brush is No. 6, and the script liner is No.10. The flat brushes are ideal for backgrounds, blends, flat washes and varnishing. Use the round brushes for decoration, details, outliners and final touches. The liner brush will help with fine details. The fan brush can be used wet or dry; when dry, use to paint shaded tones, and when wet, this shape can be used to create streaked effects such as grass and trees.

These eight short-handled yellow polyamide brushes can be used for decorative painting projects, whether you're using water-based or solvent-based paints. If water-based, clean with soapy water; if solvent-based paints, clean with white spirit, then with soapy water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Celesta from Pebeo assorted brushes I bought this pack of paint brushes because of the pack size and range of different brushes, they are ideal for intricate work and decoupage, the bristles are soft but firm enough to hold their shape and the bristles don't fall out, I have used them with water based paint, glue and varnish, they wash out easily and remain completely intact when dry, they are light and comfortable to hold. The variety of brushes allows you to use them for fine details, bold strokes, blending and feathering. they have been excellent.

You don't only get a range of brushes from fine to script to round to fan.. you name it.. but also a great quality of hairs and handles. Mostly used for watercolour, though I've used a couple of them with acrylics and they had kept the shape after use and washes
