A nice product
I picked up a couple pairs of needles, very disappointed when I first found I had one pair metal and one pair were.....plastic!
But,
the plastic ones have very quickly become my favourite pair. Very comfortable to use, weirdly I find I don’t get such sweaty hands, and there is no reason why, but hey! Who am I to argue.
Nice to know I can take my knitting on any future long haul flights, not that that will happen, but it’s good to have options. Definitely keeping my eyes open for plastic needles in the future.

I would not recommend these knitting needles
Pony classic smooth and light knitting needles are very difficult to use, they are so light and flexible working with them proved to be very difficult. I purchased 6mm needles to use with chunky wool.The wool just stuck to them making knitting very difficult. I had to go and buy another pair of needles made from aluminium to continue with my knitting. I will not buy 'smooth and light' needles again whatever size I need.

Metal would be better
Metal needles would be better as these plastic ones are quite bendy

Difficult
Found these needles very difficult to use. The yarn didn't move on the needle. Other needles I tried were fine so it wasn't the yarn. Plastic felt flimsy.

Strong needles, not a fan of plastic
The needles did the job after I desperately needed some size 6mm ones for my project but I prefer metal needles so that they don't have that awkward stuck problem where you need to push the stitches harder in over to move to the next stitch. I can see the plastic being useful if you didn't want the stitches to slip off accidentally if you left the project in a bag for later. If I find metal size 6mm needles I will definitely give those ones a 5 star rating.

Bendy and not smooth to use.
I bought these needles in store, (which I prefer to do,) but I didn’t notice that they were plastic, not aluminium. I find them bendy and unwieldy to use as they’re also longer than I wanted, but there weren’t any shorter length needles available in this size. They’re okay I suppose and will do the job I want to do but I don’t recommend them. I hope to find aluminium ones if I should ever need to use this size needles again.

Nice strong needles
I’m back knitting after a 30 year break! I bought these needles to complete a cable knit cardigan I’ve started. Very Ambitious. I’ve actually changed to a 6.5mm bamboo needle now as I was getting too tight a tension with these metal(pony) needles but I’m sure I’ll use them again. They’re strong and smooth, which is why I swapped to the bamboo as I saw on YouTube that bamboo was perhaps better for beginners.
