Rainbow Dust pink Food Pen
Must admit I was a bit dubious about trying the pen out at first. I had a dry run on a piece of icing and Wow I was pleasantly surprised at the results, so much so, that I used it for all the lettering on my Grand daughters communion cake. I thought I would have to pipe over the writing but it worked so well I had no need to. I would recommend this pen as an essential to all cake makers.

Fun for decorating
I used this pen to add decoration to biscuits covered with royal icing. It works well but you have to be quite light-handed. I did notice a bit of smudging after a day or so, but that was possibly due to the heat rather than the pen itself. I'm not sure how well it would work on other surfaces but it was fun to use.

Not easy to use
Difficult to draw lines onto dry icing. The ink immediately stopped flowing. I assumed the end was picking up minute particles of icing, which were then clogging it up. It happened with both ends of the pen.

Great Product
Great Product for a beginner like me and I guess someone experienced...I use to personalise my children’s cakes and it works well you have to ensure icing is really dry before writing and not press too hard

Pretty good!
Was able to use for fine writing onto royal icing, and made it look semi-professional (and I'm an amateur baker!). Far better than trying to write wording with icing! Would definitely use again.

Perfect for the job!
Having recently purchased the black version of this pen, I knew it was perfect (when using the fine nib) for adding tiny details to my icing decorations!
