It does the job to a degree
I bought this to make life a lot easier when making my friends wedding cake. Turns out, I probably would have been better for me if I had rolled it out myself because when I opened up the packet and unrolled the plastic it was stuck onto, the plastic had actually been rolled in such a way that the marzipan had been sliced almost all the way through. Having little choice but to bodge it together, I then found that the fruit cake I had made was too big, even though it was an 8" cake. The cake depth I made was 3.5", so for reference for others, that is too deep for this. I simply rolled it out and carried on. The biggest issue for me was having to mould it back together. Hopefully, I have just been unlucky with this product and this doesn't happen normally. But with the experience I have had, I probably wouldn't get this again.

So simple and easy
So easy to use and quick just unroll the pack lay over cake and trim no mess to clean up and also has a great taste. Bit more expensive than supermarket product but so worth it

A must for beginners
Was a little unsure if I could buy marzipan this time of year but was pleasantly surprised when I found this product. Not only did it save me from rolling but was pleasantly surprised when it was round too. Perfect for beginners like me.

Easy to use
I bought 16 rolls of this to run a Christmas cake decorating team building session for work. All of the delegates were non-bakers and all the groups found it easy to use, with surprisingly good results!!!

Easy to use
This is a really quick and easy way to top your cake. No messing around with anything else. I used it as it is for my cake which was 8" round. Worked really well. I would definitely recommend this.

Easy to use
Bought this as it was reduced by the till and saved me rolling out a block myself. Used it to cover a battenberg which worked a treat despite the marzipan being round shape - even had some leftover

An easy way to marzipan a cake
Excellent product. Some waste which was actually used for model making, due to the cale being square and the paste being round. Such a time saver though and a good surface for fondant icing
