Good but...
Good product but could do with more readily available larger pack sizes.
Product given to me (click and collect) fairly bashed up. Doesn’t ‘matter’ as such as obviously in a sealed packet and going to be rolled out and modelled when used BUT the store could, I think, have worked a bit harder at not bashing it up before it got to me.
Incidentally the stuff still on the shelves was not like this- so are they choosing to offload the most unattractive stock on click and collect? Hmm

Bits of hard dark icing stuck in it
5 of the 6 packs I bought had small hard dark bits of icing stuck in them. There weren't one or two, there were about 20-30 in each pack. I tried fishing them out but every time I tried again to roll out the fondant I found more - it took a very long time to finally get some usable fondant. Once I'd managed to it was great - pliable, didn't harden too quickly, but it was a nightmare to get it to a workable point.

Great easy to use product
I used this to top off some Comic Relief buns I had made to sell at the school I work.I am new to this sort of decorating but found the icing easy to handle and didnt dry out too quickly. The vibrant red colour looked great and I had a lot of compliments back.

I'm happy with my purchase. I needed a bright colour to make my cake pop a little more and it did it work. Its colour didn't faint even after adding loads of icing sugar
Only thing that bothered me was that icing was not getting hard enough
It is good for adding little decorations on top of your icing but I won't recommend it for covering whole cake as it can smudge easily

Football shirt cake
This is the worst icing I have ever used. Have used Renshaw for many years with no problems but
found this one totally unsuitable for covering a novelty cake. It broke up, cracked & ended up all crazed on the cake. It was so disappointing as I made the cake for a friend. Also unable to purchase larger packs.

Good for the price
Renshaw icing holds it's shape well for sugar crafting. I have struggled with cracks when covering a cake and with stretching and breaking. Kneading and warming it is essential so I've taken to doing it for a few minutes before rolling out. The colours are fab and for the price it's decent enough.
