If you are loco about locomotives, then Revell’s Big Boy Locomotive Plastic Model Kit might be for you!
These tough American engines retired from service in 1961, but still stand as engineering marvels for their incredible carrying capacity of up to 4,200 tonnes. Their task was made heavier by the fact that they had to power their way through steep passes from Utah to Wasatch, U.P. Only 25 were ever made, but were separated into classes. The first class were built in 1941, whilst the second were built in 1944. Whilst their reign on the track was brief, they are not forgotten.
