I needed a couple of different colour browns for knitting toy animals so this range was perfect for that!

Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK 100g Oatmeal 964.
This is a lovely yarn to work with. I bought it in 3 complementary colours and used 2 strands for 8 rows each to create a random pattern in stocking stich (oatmeal/peach, oatmeal/cream). Love the effect on the 'sloppy Joe' sweater that might otherwise have been quite plain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by oldie65 Really pleased with the results so far havent finished the garment yet but will be using more of this wool in the future.
First time buying wool in Hobbycraft and vey pleased with it, it knits very well and quickly and working on my third ball at present and haven't had joins or thickened thread as some wool has. It is knitting up to correct pattern size.

The wool dk oatmeal is really good quality yarn but I did notice that the way is was balled up there were a couple of time when it was done badly and caused knots to occur while I was knitting with it so it made it a little difficult to work with. Otherwise good quality wool and inexpensive

As well as being good value for money, this wool knits up beautifully. Washes well too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jo64 No problems so far!
I'm using this (and two other colours) to crochet a throw made of granny squares. So far it's going well. The yarn has a fairly coarse wool-like feel.
