Great book.
This book covers a broad range of art themed topics and would be a good place to start for anyone looking to acquire or develop knowledge.The book has five sections covering drawing, fundamentals, painting, colour basics and mixed media. I particularly like the sections on theories of composition and colour, which provide enough information to be useful without being too wordy. Overall, this book is a great resource for anyone interested in creating art.

This product is great!
This product is great for all ability artists. Especially for those, like myself, who are beginners and want to learn technigue but are interested in the different types of art.
There is a whole range of types of art to learn. It's also the right mix of pictures and words. I struggle with ones that are to wordy.
It also gives technigue rather than copying others. So you can learn to do your own thing and not just copy other peoples art.

A perfect painting guide for beginners
I haven't painted for ages and i always wanted to learn painting but never got a chance, so when i decided to start, i found this wonderful book, which gives you a very good introduction of all the methods involved in drawing, painting, sketching etc and a good description of the materials and props to use and how to use them.

Great basics covering all types of art
Found this colourful book so easy to use and touching on all types of mediums for producing art work, ranging from what each type of brush will give you on a canvas to how to ensure the impression of light is produced in a picture. A masterpiece of a book in itself!
