Sturdy, should last
I bought a cheap one from Amazon and shouldn’t have bothered: really cheap, lightweight, unstable, and anything more than a slight bash with a brush would have knocked it flying. So reusing the wood for projects and bought this instead.
Pricier, but short of three figures which is good. Surprised by how heavy the box was when I picked it up (but also surprised and annoyed I was expected to pay p&p given the cost).
Like others, agree that instructions aren’t great; I put a few things on backwards and had to redo.
However got there in the end and although I haven’t used it so far (for oil painting), I like how sturdy it is, the easy adjustability, the supporting tray, and get the impression this is something that’s going to last for years if looked after.

This is solid stable and well made. You will need a high ceiling to use it at it’s fullest extension.
Well made and very stable due to the stance and weight. Though it’s not the cheapest it is good value and should last a lifetime of use.
Comes semi disassembled and the assembly plan is tiny and needs to be at a bigger scale for clarity. Though assembly is fairly logical after some reflection, the most complex, and smallest part, is likely to take some working out but only because it is drawn so small on the plan. All the fixings are in numbered bags that relate to the plan.
Overall, an excellent buy.

Heavy duty easel
This is an amazingly study heavy duty easel. Would definitely recommend. This was purchased to hold a heavy duty mirror for a table plan at an event.

Lovely easel!
I’d been trying to get this A frame beech easel for a few weeks! I visited the store & ordered online without much success. After checking online apparently our local store had three as I didn’t trust the stock levels I phoned my local store where a male member of staff kindly searched the stock room and indeed they had three, he kindly reserved it for me to collect, so thank you.
After reading the reviews I anticipated it may be difficult to decipher the instructions so I identified each part and lay them out as per the instructions, you even get the screwdrivers to put it together, although they are not totally clear I didn’t have a problem the only part I couldn’t make out was where the two springs went until I’d finished putting it together lol.
Although I’ve only had this easel a day, so far I think it’s good quality, sturdy, easy to adjust and I love the art tray too! Now I can stand and sit at the easel.
( please be aware if the easel is used at its highest point it is very tall, but it’s ok for standard height ceilings )

Very good quality, came with its own screwdrivers and, wood feels very good and it’s design is efficient and looks great

Best easel i’ve had!
I got this easel on a promotion and it was the best choice i ever made. It’s very tall and can hold big canvases. Helps when your painting from life, plus looks amazing in the studio
