Great basic starter set
Great pack of paint brushes ideal for the beginner or those on a low budget. A good range of styles, including sponge tips for different painting styles and textures.

Some came broken, flawed and SHARP
I was excited for this product. I homeschool my two children and for their art units I needed a good variety of brushes and sponges. However, I was quite disappointed when these arrived:
- The plastic packaging was open (inside the box the entire order was in). Even the ones that stayed inside the bag were already broken, bent or flawed.
- Most of them were covered in glue “strings” / glue splotches and the bristles were coming out in spades (some of which were stuck to the glue splotches).
- One of the brushes had some bent metal which was very sharp and not safe to give to my children to use.
- The metal seems like it was put on haphazardly and has splintered the wood slightly on some of them.
Not up to Hobbycraft’s usual standard.

A selection!
This is a very good selection of mops and brushes for several techniques. They aren't absolutely top quality but very good value for money.

Good range for a good price
Bought these to do some watercolour painting. This kit has a nice range of brushes/sponges to play with. Not the best quality brushes but you can't complain for the price!

Broad selection with some of v. good quality
Nice selection of brushes and sponges, just what I was after. The quality of some of the brushes was surprisingly good for a budget offering.

The hairs of all the brushes fall out whilst using. The sponges work better. Worth investing in a few good quality brushes.
