Bamboo canes
Bough these to make some fairy wands for my LO and her friends. Get quality and perfect size for little hands. She has had so much fun already with her wand. Good price as always. Haven’t used them for baking purposes but I can imagine they would be up to the job.

Dowel rods for a wedding cake.
I found these good but very tricky to cut with a knife to make shorter. Also found the wood splintered slightly which isn’t great when being used in a cake.
Overall they did support the top tier of the cake.

Much sturdier quality. Good weight and diameter.
When I visited hobbycraft I could not find the dowel rods I usually pick up. Maybe I was thinking of another shop. Anyway after some searching I found these.
They proved to be much better as they are slightly thicker than the previous ones I bought.
Puppet making is back on ! Thanks

Renshaw ivory icing
If you want ivory you may be out of luck because Champagne and Ivory have the same bar code so it appears to be a lottery which colour you receive. I had to go elsewhere eventually and returned the champagne icing that was offered at click and collect

Bamboo dowel rods
Unfortunately they splintered quite badly when I cut to the correct size that I needed. I was able to sort it out by wrapping the ends, but took quite a while as I needed quite a lot of them.

Easy & clean to cut
Great dowels for stacking cakes. Easy to cut & snapped cleanly as well. Be warned they can be cut/shaved with a sharp knife when cutting the cake though, but for the price they're excellent
